My Dealership Experience
There’s a lot that happens between the time you choose your new vehicle and the moment you actually drive away in it. And much of it is at the dealership. It’s good to know what you can expect before you arrive. Why not print the list below and take it with you?

Now let’s talk about what happens when you’re there
While an appointment isn't necessary, it's not a bad idea. If you're taking a test drive, the dealer can have your vehicle waiting and ready to go. Once you've fallen in love (that's what happens on a test drive!), here's what you can expect next.
Your dealer will go over available colors, trims, accessories and finance options. You'll negotiate price, down payment, and length of term. If you've got a trade-in, the dealer will inspect your vehicle, offer you a price and work the trade into your purchase price. This is also a great time to discuss the specifics of your vehicle's warranty, and any extended coverage that's available. While it won't be an all-day adventure at the dealership, you should plan on spending at least a couple hours.
Now, time for the necessary paperwork, which can’t be avoided. But rest assured, you’re in very good hands. One of the dealership’s F&I experts (that’s Finance and Insurance) will review the financing with you. We know it’s a large purchase, and we want to make sure that you carefully examine the details of the contract. Your dealer will make it all go as quickly and smoothly as possible. And you can help by making sure you’re prepared with the aforementioned list.
